Community Women’s Leadership for Decarbonisation
Women coastal in Ambon and Makassar, and also urban farming communities in Yogyakarta are on the front lines in facing the impacts of climate change.
Through the GetDecarb program, which using a Feminist Participatory Action Research (FPAR) approach, these women are transforming from mere victims into leaders of change! 💪 They are now develop a community-based initiatives for clean energy and natural resource management. 💡
Their voices and actions are being delivered by Aksi! and LIFE to the global stage at COP30 in Belém, Brazil! 🇧🇷 This is a crucial moment to demonstrate that grassroots women are NOT just victims, but are true leaders driving the transformation toward a more just and climate-resilient order.
